August: Dramatic Eclipses
The Sun moves into the fiery and festive sign of the Lion on July 22 and remains there until August 22. Leo loves a party, and weddings during this time are infused with the energy of enthusiasm and celebration. With a Solar Eclipse on August 1, followed by a Lunar Eclipse on August 16, this month packs a powerful punch which can either support or thwart your wedding bliss, depending on how you respond.
With friends and family converging, weddings can be prone to some degree of emotional drama. Eclipses magnify this potential, particularly in theatrical Leo, the drama king or queen of the zodiac.
Helpful hint: If you feel yourself getting taken for an emotional rollercoaster ride, step back and detach from the drama rather than fueling the fire. During Eclipse periods (in this case, the entire month of August) it's easy to blow things out of proportion, so remember that whatever seems like a Very Big Deal in the moment is likely to be forgotten within a month.

The rule for Eclipses is to expect the unexpected, which means your wedding may not unfold precisely as planned. Pride and willfulness -- the Lion's shadow -- could kick in as reactionary responses to unforeseen events, but a "my way or the highway" attitude is unlikely to get you very far. Instead, your best bet is to go with the flow, maintain a higher perspective and trust in positive outcomes. If you surrender the need to have things go exactly your way, you'll be able to relax and have a lot more fun.
