'Tis the season for the holiday party, and if you were to talk to any one sign of the zodiac about partying, they'd all convince you that they're the best reveler and explain why. The truth is that every sign has things about them that make them cool and other things that make them a clown at any fete. If you're planning on attending or throwing a party this season, here's your survival guide for dealing with the best (cool) and the worst (clown) of each sign.
Aries (March 21 - April 19)
What's cool about you is the energy, zest and take-charge attitude that you bring to any party. You definitely bring the heat! The clown moments are particularly ugly when you blow your cool on a slight offense and shout loud enough to drown out the music.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Your cool factor is being the first one to roll up your sleeves to make sure the party gets set up nicely. Your clown moment is when you hover around the snack table, even double dipping your chips, as if it were your private dining area.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
No one would know about the party if it weren't for you, Gemini. You know how to talk up a party and make it sound like the Second Coming of Woodstock. The clowning happens, unfortunately, when you don't show up because you had a "previous engagement."
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
There probably wouldn't be any snacks or food if it weren't for you, dear Crab. Your coolness is kind of soccer mom-ish, whether you're a mom or not. You make everyone feel comfortable. Now, if we could just get you out of the kitchen to shake a tailfeather, we'd all be happy.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
Your natural magnetism and flair for the dramatic gives the whole party a celebrity aura. That's really cool! However, you're a clown when you actually believe, perhaps after too much sauce, that you actually are a celebrity and start autographing people's napkins.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Your organization and upkeep skills are invaluably cool before and after the party. You're the one who reminds us that dust is not good ornamentation. However, you're clowning yourself when you go around placing impromptu coasters under everyone's cups.
