Set Your Intentions
Before going back to school, it's important to define your goals. Write down eight goals for the year ahead on a red piece of paper. Be as specific as possible. For instance, you might write as one of your goals, "To maintain an A average in all of my classes," or "To improve my math scores by 20%." Place this list in a ceramic container, and then place this container in the near left corner of your home, which governs knowledge and wisdom.

Beat the Clock
Being a good student requires time management skills. Place a round black clock across from your desk, to the right of center. Make sure the clock is big enough to view it comfortably. This will make you more mindful of time constraints, and will keep you focused on your studies. If you have a clock positioned over your head, you will always feel pressed for time. Reposition it so you can see the time clearly, but aren't harassed by it.

Get Clarity
If you're not sure what you want to do in life, clean your windows and mirrors. Having a clear view of the outdoors, as well as your own reflection, will make it easier to pinpoint what you want. Once you understand what you want to do, it will be much easier to pursue a course of study that supports your desires. Don't bother studying business if you want to be an artist. You'll make much better use of your time, money and energy by pursuing your heart's desire.

Climb Every Mountain
According to Feng Shui, the mountain is the ultimate symbol of success and self-cultivation. Placing a beautiful picture of a mountain in the near left corner of your home will help you cultivate the internal resources you need to excel at school. If your front entrance is located in this part of your home, be sure to hang this picture to the right of the door, where it will sustain and strengthen you each time you leave the house.

Create a Study Nook
Good students require a place to study. Your study area should include a comfortable reading chair, a desk, a clock and a bookshelf. Keep distractions like television and alcohol away from this space. The more streamlined and clutter-free your study area, the more progress you will make at school.
