Numerology profiles three blood-sucking heartthrobs

based on the Numerology of Hans Decoz

Lately, Hollywood has spurred a new genre of film and TV: vampires living among us. From vegetarians to Southern gentlemen to mysterious teens, the following three men represent very different takes on how these legendary, blood-sucking creatures might function in the modern world.

On the surface, each man appears to be the victim of unfortunate circumstances. From the dignified Bill Compton of HBO's True Blood to teen idol Edward Cullen of the Twilight book and film franchise to the angsty but devoted Stefan Salvatore of CW's upcoming Vampire Diaries series, these guys have heart ... and mysterious backgrounds. They are each over a century old. Given their unusual circumstances, can they really be trusted?

We examine their names closely to let their numbers be our guide. Luckily, in the world of True Blood, a synthetic form of human blood enables vampires to live with humans ... without feasting on them. This enables Bill to pursue a relationship with Sookie, a clairvoyant waitress who is drawn to his gentlemanly ways ... and the fact that Bill is one of the few people whose mind she can't read.

Unfortunately, even in this world, Bill faces discrimination and intolerance and is a source of both fascination and disdain. With a Dominant Impression Number of 5, the former Confederate soldier draws his fair share of both. His neighbors are fascinated by his typical 5 qualities: he is clearly a survivor! He is also intellectually sharp and has great instincts (no doubt a byproduct of his long time on Earth!). And when Sookie's grandmother invites him to speak on his experiences during the Civil War, his speech draws most of the town -- not as supporters, but as people who feel the pull of his magnetic vibe.
