This year is not business as usual, Gemini. You're dancing in the shadows, undistracted by superfluous information or excessive noise. Taskmaster Saturn in your 5th House of Romance and Self-Expression dynamically squares dark Pluto on January 31 and August 21 in a pattern that began on November 15, 2009 and forces you to delve into the recesses of your own subconscious mind. Fast talking and clever repartee aren't as interesting to you now that passionate Pluto in your 8th House of Deep Sharing is under stress. You may be more contemplative about your feelings, but this is exactly why you're willing to dig deeper than ever before. You might even feel desperate as you seek ways to light the spark of creativity that has been put out. Fortunately, getting to the core of what motivates you can rekindle that flame of inspiration, stimulate your enthusiasm and reset the course of your life.

Journeying into the unknown
An ambitious Capricorn Solar Eclipse on January 15 falls in your regenerative 8th house, corroborating the intense theme of your journey into the unknown. The Capricorn Lunar Eclipse on June 26 is conjunct Pluto, again reminding you that the most powerful magic of metamorphosis occurs out of sight. The connection of rational Mercury to this eclipse suggests that communication is an integral part of your transformation, whether you're actively engaged in a formal therapy process, blogging about your experiences anonymously or simply sharing your most intimate thoughts with a close friend.

No matter what obstacles you face, surmounting them will build your confidence and increase your resolve to live a life of purpose, rather than bouncing around on the waves of change. You have a cosmic ally to assist you with your inner growth this year: the karmic North Node of the Moon is also in your mysterious 8th house. Since the North Node is indicative of the path of the soul's journey ahead, the case for psychological and spiritual regeneration is compelling.

A future without constraints
There's a definite shift in your priorities when revolutionary Uranus and beneficent Jupiter enter your 11th House of Long-Term Goals on May 27 and June 6, respectively, followed by the first of three Jupiter-Uranus conjunctions on June 8. These are opportunities to open your mind wider than ever before and imagine your future without old constraints holding you back. It may come as a surprise, but you will be able to look out beyond the limits of your current career path to think more about realizing your dreams, however unattainable they were in the past. Still, gains won't come easily now; there are no shortcuts, and you must work hard for what you want.

The second Jupiter-Uranus conjunction on September 18 can mean recognition at work or even an unexpected promotion. The year ends with a dynamic lunar eclipse in your sign on December 21 that is square Jupiter and Uranus as they move toward their third and final conjunction on January 4, 2011. Success is your reward for maintaining focus, but the outcome may include a real surprise.
