Our goal during the month of October is to raise $2,000 in donations for a very important cause: Breast Cancer Network of Strength®, a national non-profit organization that works to ensure, through information, empowerment and peer support, that no one faces breast cancer alone. Together, we can support prevention and treatment -- and strike a better balance for health!

About the Cause

Breast Cancer Network of Strength provides emotional relief to anyone affected by breast cancer through the YourShoes™ 24/7 Breast Cancer Support Center, which includes the country’s only toll-free breast cancer hotline staffed entirely by breast cancer survivors.

Network of Strength raises money to fund YourShoes, outreach programs, breast health awareness workshops, wigs and prostheses banks for women with limited resources, and advocacy on breast cancer related policies.

Network of Strength does NOT raise money for research. They're here today for those who can't wait for tomorrow's cure. While it doesn’t raise money for research, it is one of the founders of the National Breast Cancer Coalition, which works to increase breast cancer research funding. Additionally, representatives from Breast Cancer Network of Strength serve on the Department of Defense Peer-Reviewed Breast Cancer Research Program, which awards grants for breast cancer research.
