Obama’s Acceptance Speech & McCain’s Veep
August 29th, 2008 by Jeff JawerIn spite of opening the Democratic convention with the Moon at 29 Gemini (the last degree of any sign is considered weak), the event went off without a hitch. Then, within a matter of minutes, the Moon entered its home sign of Cancer, which is also the sign of the U.S. (born on the Fourth of July). However, it shifted into dramatic Leo, Barack Obama’s sign, on the final day of the convention. Electrifying Uranus was rising in Denver when Obama began his acceptance speech and the effects were obvious. Obama’s speech ended with fortunate Jupiter culminating. Traditional astrology’s most favored planet at its highest point reflects the high praise received by the Democratic candidate. One speech, of course, does not make an election, but the weather and the planets were on the Dems’ side last night.
John McCain’s surprise pick of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has been successful in garnering attention. Palin is inexperienced, but her chart suggests that she’s very bright and very tough. Born on February 11, 1964, Palin’s an Aquarius with a hard-nosed conjunction of Mars, Saturn and the Sun. She also has mental Mercury in bright Aquarius and, depending on her birth time (not yet published) she has the Moon in Capricorn or Aquarius. Governor Palin may be inexperienced, but she may prove to be a formidable campaigner.

Given little-reported events from the last Presidential Election, and the tight Saturn-Uranus opposition this upcoming election day, hasn’t the die already been cast as to who is going to win… or should I say, “win”?

i completely agree, cause i just turned 19and this is my first time to be envoled in this election , and i always believed in Obama, he wants change so i say Obama all the way. i think uranus did a wonderful job with the crowed last night

Palin can influence the people to stand on their Own Feet, and be Responsible for Their Own Self (Which is an Unpopular Thing with Alot of People Now-a-days, Seems Many People think something is OWED to Them, or “SOMEONE” (Taxpayer’s) Should take Care of Them!?!
I don’t mind my Tax Dollars helping Someone (Though I think I should have the right to choose to Whom I want my “Donation” to go to & NOT The Government) but I would like to help THOSE that are TRYING to HELP ThemSelves OR Are Older, Feeble and Can’t Work!
The People that work 80 hr. weeks trying to get Their kids Through School, Clothe Them, Feed Them, AND STILL HAVE TO Pay Taxes ON WHAT THEY EARN for “People that DON’T Want To Work”!!!!
I DO Know Quite a Few People That Push Themselves to DO This! And Deserve more than someone with a Lame Excuse as to Why That Can’t DO ANYTHING/WORK!
I work 60+ hrs. a week myself and it’s not uncommon for me to work more…
IF a person can bring a fork to their mouth, and think Well enough to Vote, they can work a computer! Get Training! Get a Job!
From what I have seen and investigated Palin has more Experience in Standing up for what is Right than Obama….
We need a GOOD Change, A Right Change (A Right, Right, Not a Wrong Left) Not a More Socialist/Entitlement Gov. as I see Obama Pitching.
I DON’T WANT “MY GOVERNMENT” (WHOM I Employ!) Telling me when I Can or Can’t have a needed Surgery, that I have to Wait For That Surgery, because of age, gender whatever Stipulations they may throw in there, How Long I have to Wait to get Into an E.R, Handle my Finances More Than They are Already doing Now!…..
