Transformation Sparks Hope

Using the astro-reincarnation time scale, we see that Oprah Winfrey has her Sun and Venus conjunct at 8 degrees of Aquarius, which are dated in May 1864, toward the end of the American Civil War. Given that Oprah is dedicated to minority rights and freedom, this is absolutely appropriate. The Sun incarnation is interpreted as: “You linked with others who shared your ideals of either the old ways or of freedom, and either fought along with them to achieve your goals or left the social order to create new generations who were insulated from the ideas of the masses.” This surely describes what Oprah stands for and her importance in our modern world. It also describes an incarnation when her values echoed great abundance in the material world, which she experiences in this current life.

Venus in Aquarius registers at the same time and indicates that she would have been a young woman who “had progressive feelings allied to individualistic rights and manifested as ideas that you lived: free love and universal brotherhood. You formed groups that propagated your ideas, joined with others way beyond your natural home, and associated yourself and your values with highly abstract visions of the future. Your ideas were so highly developed, however, that they led to detachment from basic human affections.” This paradox is very appropriate for Oprah and as Venus is the goddess of love, she ultimately bestowed great love on people and her world. Her feelings were deep and profound and she was even willing to sacrifice herself for their exalted being, which brought a sense of isolation, possibly rooted in her self-reflective nature and the knowledge that she took onto herself.

Mercury registered a little later, as an incarnation in 1890, when she propagated radical and revolutionary ideas and took them into the collective world around her. She quickly grasped the use of technology and progressive education in her age and has applied them in this life.

So we see that Oprah is a good reflection of her most recent incarnations in history and that we can also benefit from looking at our astro-reincarnation profiles.
