Venus just shared a steamy rendezvous with Mars on October 3; now she descends to the Underworld until mid-November to strengthen her power. Aries (March 21 - April 19)
How’s your sex life lately, Aries? This New Moon lights your fire, heating things up for you and a loved one. It helps if you’re willing to bend a bit to accommodate the other person’s stubbornness or need to confront the past. Single Rams may be tempted to reunite with a former flame or hook up with someone who’s essentially unavailable. Yes, the chemistry is hot, but you could also get burned if you’re not careful. Protect yourself.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Your beloved may get jealous or frustrated at this New Moon, Taurus, if you’re overly involved with work or socializing with jobmates. Make sure your partner knows you care, even as you’re planting seeds for new work projects and team efforts. Setting boundaries on the job site is essential, though -- your physical energy has its limits, and others will follow your lead and support you as you speak out for what’s fair and just.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

Nostalgia has a purpose, as it reminds you of why you’re loveable and desirable -- even though, with Venus turning backward right now, your passion may be better served by pouring it into a work project or rejuvenating your health. Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Though you’re a nurturer, Cancer, it’s hard for you to feel safe enough to keep your heart open when someone has hurt you repeatedly. At this New Moon, you’re asked to find forgiveness for a parent, child or lover, and agree to start over with new rules and boundaries in place. When we act out the pain of our inner child, there’s often collateral damage. You may find that comforting children -- inner or otherwise -- falls to you now.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
You’re mulling over a creative plan at this New Moon, Leo. Because matters on the home front are intense and possibly unstable, take time to make sure everyone is on the same page before proceeding. Perhaps you want to renovate or refinance your home, but someone else opposes the idea. It’s best to wait until Venus goes direct in mid-Nov., when the timing is more favorable for shared finances, and agreements can be reached.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
You’re making a big change with your finances or physical image at this New Moon, Virgo. Others are willing to help you now, so call on those who owe you favors and partner up with clever folks who can help you make ends meet or transform yourself. You’ll need to stick close to home through mid-Nov. to make the most of this cycle; have patience with the process and trust that once it’s over, you’ll have a new lease on life.
Libra (September 23 - October 22)
The New Moon in your sign triggers a rebirth for you, Libra. But in order to effect the needed changes, whether financial or romantic, you will have to go on an Underworld journey along with your ruling planet, Venus, over the next five weeks. Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
The deep, mysterious side of you comes out at this New Moon, Scorpio. Your attractive powers are heightened to the max; use them wisely so you don’t fall into old patterns of secrecy, seduction or going into debt. A hidden arrangement could go awry, or take longer than you expected to pay off. Doing inner work will yield jewels beyond compare over the next five weeks; give relationships and finances that long to bear fruit.
Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
You’re at the hub of group activities at this New Moon, Sagittarius. You may even be organizing a big event or championing a social cause. Just make sure your team is cohesive and funds are in place, as someone could be undermining things or not pulling their weight. Going into debt to make a wish come true is not your best option now. You and a partner are aiming high at this New Moon, Aquarius, as you pursue a big goal or take off on a trip. As long as you’re not letting your boss or business down, things should work out well. Changing the scenery in whatever way you can will free you up to envision fresh possibilities. It may be time to let go of old career endeavors that no longer serve you; reaching out to new faces and places could help you make a switch.
Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
You may be longing for the old days when you were free to do your own thing at this New Moon, Pisces. Yet you’ll feel more secure about your increased commitment to a partnership or investment in your future once this nostalgic phase has passed after mid-Nov.
