Gemini Love Horoscope for December 2013

Forwards and backwards

You could be feeling good about yourself and come across with plenty of charm and appeal to others this month. The source of your increasing allure is passionate Mars. This dynamic planet is in lovely Libra and your 5th House of Romance, making it easy for you to get attention without looking like you're hungry for it. This should help you to meet an interesting individual but sealing the deal might be a lot more difficult. That's because while Mars is out there pitching, it's Venus who does the catching. But this month the planet of attraction is in hardnosed Capricorn and your 8th House of Intimacy where it requires patience and persistence to turn an attraction into a meaningful connection. Frustration is certainly possible when pleasant encounters and flirtatious moments don't lead to deeper feelings.

Even the New Moon on December 2 is on your side when it comes to making a great first impression. This outgoing Sun-Moon conjunction occurs in your 7th House of Partners, reinforcing the idea that getting noticed and meeting people can happen under almost any circumstance.

But even if you're making some progress toward the kind of partnership you want, amorous Venus turns retrograde on December 21, which tends to complicate relationships. Repairing a current alliance or reconnecting with someone from your past can be expected until the love planet begins moving forward again on January 31. However, if you're mature enough to tackle tough issues, you can earn respect that builds a strong foundation for a lasting love.
