Cancer Love Horoscope: February 2013

Make it or break it

You may be challenged to change some of your relationship patterns this month. Venus, the planet of love, is in quirky Aquarius and your 8th House of Intimacy from February 1-25, when you are likely to encounter some unusual people or experiences. The comfort and familiarity you generally seek may be harder to find during this period.

However, if you're open to a breath of fresh air in your current union or in your search for someone new, this is the moment for it. Think of this as a time of experimentation, when you can try out different kinds of activities and individuals. It's tempting to shy away from people whose values are different from yours or who play the game of love by another set of rules.

Venus forms a tense square with stern Saturn on February 10, which can slam on the brakes if you're not happy with the one you're with. You might be disappointed with someone or encounter doubts about your value to others. But this is not meant to shut the door to love; it's about being clearer regarding what you want and what you're willing to give to get it. If you and another person are too far apart in your desires, this could be a time to make a decision to work harder on the relationship or to go your separate ways.

The Sun's shift into sensitive Pisces on February 18 takes some of the chill out of the air, warming your emotions and leading to Venus' move into Pisces on February 25, to finish the month in a more magical mood.
