Scorpio Career Horoscope: February 2013

Find joy on the job

You have the ability to smooth out problems and work your way around obstacles this month. The capacity to make your points with a gentle touch comes from the entry of your assertive ruling planet Mars into gentle Pisces on February 1. This occurs in your expressive 5th House of Creativity, where it stirs your imagination and adds a bit of showmanship useful for promoting yourself and your ideas.

Chatty Mercury follows the same course on February 5, adding imagination and increasing your capacity to impress others. There are some risks of presenting ideas that sound great but which are very difficult to implement, though. Some practical thinking is needed to keep illusion and fantasy from cutting your credibility during the first week of the month.

On February 10, your traditional ruling planet Mars is hyped up by a stressful square with expansive Jupiter that can overload you with obligations or push ambition beyond reason. Thinking big is fine as long as you have the resources (time, money, energy and support) to back it up. It's not professionally beneficial to promise something that you won't be able to deliver.

The period around February 15-16 (give or take a couple of days) is excellent for efficiency. Mars makes constructive connections with potent Pluto and solid Saturn that bring focus, strength and resourcefulness to handle almost any problem.

The Sun's entry into Pisces on February 18 underscores the importance of finding joy in your job. If that's not possible, putting more pleasure into your personal life or thinking about changing your place of employment makes sense.
