Leo Career Horoscope: November 2013

Picking up steam

Cleaning up unfinished business and taking care of personal matters should take priority this month. November begins with the Sun in scrutinizing Scorpio and your 4th House of Roots, stirring up deep feelings and pulling you back into the past. Mental Mercury, also in Scorpio, is retrograde until November 10, which can complicate communications but is another reminder to finally complete tasks that you've been putting off for a long time.

In fact, the Scorpio New Moon on November 3 is closely conjunct exigent Saturn, which can delay progress on major projects. Perhaps resources of time, money or expertise are missing and need to be found before plunging ahead. Patience and persistence are keys to tapping into this powerful but slow-acting lunation. Narrowing your ambitions to focus on one key challenge at a time is another way to increase your productivity ... as long as you're not in a hurry.

You should get some wind in your sails around November 12 when the Sun forms a creative and harmonious trine with lucky Jupiter. While you might not benefit immediately from this transit, it should open your mind to ways to advance your career that require some study before making your move.

Then, on November 21, the Sun blasts into fiery Sagittarius and your 5th House of Creativity and Self-Expression. This begins a month-long period when your imagination can soar, your presentations pop and your ability to get attention grows. On November 30 a solar trine with innovative Uranus kicks up original ideas and can also attract unconventional allies.
