Aries Career Horoscope: September 2013

Narrow Your Vision

Concentrating your efforts on one task and sharpening a single skill should be rewarding this month. September starts with the Sun in analytical Virgo and your 6th House of Employment, which is a signal to focus on being a specialist rather than a Jack or Jane of all trades. While it might feel confining to narrow your activities in this way, you will eventually fly higher by not scattering your attention.

The Virgo New Moon on September 5 can prod you to raise the level of your game and, perhaps, invest more time and money to get the tools and the training that you need. September 9 (give or take a day or two) could be especially significant since your assertive ruling planet Mars slams into a tense square with restrictive Saturn then. Normally, this indicates frustration, delays and difficulties, yet running into the wall of hard, cold reality can provide the clarity you need to make an important decision.

If you can't find the commitment to push ahead on your current professional path, a change of direction might be appropriate. But if you care enough about your job, recognizing the need to work harder and smarter makes sense. Either way, it's time to get off the fence.

Working with others grows in importance when magnetic Venus enters Scorpio and your 8th House of Deep Sharing on September 10. Assessing what you're getting and giving to co-workers and business partners will help you make adjustments that get the most out of these relationships. On September  22 the Sun's entry into gracious Libra and your 7th House of Others is excellent for going public with a plan and making new allies.
