The Diamond is said to balance both positive and negative energies and bring confidence, divine wisdom, and consciousness to those who embrace its energy. When applied to Numerology, the Diamond is one of the most powerful patterns for divination that numerology has to offer. Its power lies in the shape and spiritual energy of a Diamond.

Whereas other metaphysical tools reflect an individual's personality, character traits, talents, future forecast and so forth, the Diamond report reveals the chain of cause and effect that runs through our lives to inspire growth and offer guidance -- both on the physical plane and the spiritual plane. The Diamond report could be called the I-Ching of Numerology, because it reveals the links and interactions between the material body and the spiritual body.

The top part of the Diamond reflects your spiritual body. It is the heaven. The lower part of the Diamond represents your physical body. It is the earth. The Diamond divides 81 years of your life into 36 time periods, each of which is presented in a 4-corner configuration -- a kind of mini-diamond -- within the Diamond. In addition, while each of these time periods affects us for 18 years (overlapping in four-and-a-half year segments), the dominating influence of each of these mini-diamonds moves to the foreground for only one year. However, it sometimes repeats itself two or three times, often spaced a few years apart.

If you look closely, you will find a number in a red square in the top half of your Diamond, which indicates your current Challenge. In the lower half you will find three numbers in squares colored gold, green, and blue, which form an inverted triangle. The numbers within this triangle reflect your Root, Action Key, and Outcome for that period.

Your Challenge, located in the top of your mini-Diamond, is like a divine quest meant to guide you on your spiritual path. The Root, Action Key, and Outcome are of the earth, and outline the process that enables you to satisfy your Challenge.

Your Root reflects the source; it is the catalyst that starts a particular chain of cause and effect. The Action Key tells you how to respond. And the Outcome shows the probable result.

Lost for many generations, the Diamond's numerological revival over the last 20 years is a result of the research and contemplations of master numerologist Hans Decoz.

Note: For certain ages—including much of childhood—the same guidance covers a wider range than one year/age.

For Oprah Gail Winfrey, Age 51

The Challenges are found in the top half of the Diamond.

It could be said that the top half of the Diamond reflects our spiritual evolution, while the lower half, which is where we find the Root, Action Key, and Outcome, tells us of our worldly existence and experiences.

Therefore, the Challenges reveal the true purpose of our struggles from a celestial perspective.

Within the context of reincarnation, the concept is that what we take with us when we leave our human body are certain qualities we earned or enhanced as a result of the life, or lives, we lived on this earth.

You should perhaps think of the Challenges as spiritual quests; inspirations of a divine source that seduce us into learning and growing on a level above and beyond our more worldly mind. And as is befitting spiritual quests, the Challenges tend to be somewhat veiled and subtle.

Oprah, your Challenge for age 51 is 5.

Oprah, to be free without being lost requires responsibility and purpose, which is exactly what this Challenge is all about. This may seem a contradiction, since freedom is usually seen as being without requirements or strings of any kind. But that is confusing freedom with emptiness.

Freedom on a physical and material plane is not very difficult to achieve. As long as you can handle the responsibility of taking care of yourself and your needs, you are free to go where you want to go and do what you want to do. Freedom on an intellectual plane is more difficult to achieve. It requires courage, originality, and, above all, a willingness to step away from the beaten path. You thereby take the risk of being met with ridicule, perhaps even the contempt of your peers. Or it may earn you respect and admiration. Either way, you are no longer parroting the views and opinions of your parents, teachers, and contemporaries.

Finally, spiritual freedom is achieved by only a small fraction of the human race. Most people simply accept their parent's believe system. No questions asked. If people would choose spiritual freedom before accepting a particular religion, the children of Muslims might become Mormons, Catholics could conceivably give birth to future Hindus, and Jewish people might have Buddhist parents and Baptist grand parents. And every country in the world would have a religiously mixed population. This, of course, is not the reality but rather a Utopia.

Oprah, spiritual freedom translates to spiritual purpose and does not come about as a result of dissent, but rather from a true and sincere desire to know; to make contact with a reality beyond the material world. This challenge is an attempt to make you aware of your deepest, most hidden desire; the need to know.

The Root is the catalyst that sets a chain of events in motion. Based on the concept that we are here on this earth in order to learn and grow, the Root exposes weaknesses or challenges which need to be dealt with. When we acknowledge the Root we have the opportunity to respond, thereby starting on a path of healing and growing.

Oprah, your Root for age 51 is 6.

Oprah, love can be a source of confusion - as it appears to be in your life right now. You feel you don't have any kind of handle on this strange phenomenon. This does not only apply to your romantic partner, but probably also to some of the people you are close to; friends and family members. This has nothing to do with the love you feel. Love is what it is. It has to do with your perception of these feelings. You have certain expectations of what you should be feeling and they are not always met.

The confusion lies deeper in you psyche than you realize and may have its source in your own perception of your sexuality. Between the emotional connections we call love and its physical counterpart we call sex, is a large gray area where anything can happen. You have, perhaps subconsciously, ventured out into this gray area and now find yourself surrounded by unfamiliar territory.

The Action Key represents the guidance we are offered to help us on our path towards mental, emotional, and spiritual growth.

Oprah, your Action Key for age 51 is 8.

Oprah, this is a time when you need to draw from your strength. You need all the personal power you can muster. You should to be able to present yourself with authority and control. This is a time to be decisive and to act according to your gut instinct and your common sense. Others need to see you as self-confident and straightforward. However, your confidence has to be based on something real. You can't afford to stand tall, only to find that you are standing on quicksand.

There are powerful forces around you. And they are ready to help you move forward into a position where you can play a bigger role at work and in your personal life. These forces are not subtle. If you can not deliver your end of the bargain, you will miss out on a great opportunity. You will be offered more responsibility. In exchange, you are required to commit yourself and demonstrate that you are ready.

At the same time, however, you must also maintain a balance; don't sacrifice your dreams and your ideals. Don't deny your spiritual side. The bottom line is not money or status quo. The bottom line is your happiness and the happiness of the people you are close to.

Keep your perspective in balance; you need to pay attention to the material world AND the spiritual world.

Key ingredients for this period are authority, power, confidence, and balance.

The Root sets us on a path. The Action Key guides us along that path. And the Outcome indicates what it is we find at the end of this path.

Oprah, your Outcome for age 51 is 14.

Oprah, find your self with a renewed sense of freedom and potential as a result of your Root and Action Key. You feel that the sky is the limit and you can do anything you set your mind to. Your life has also become more dynamic and audacious as a result of this mindset. You are no longer restricted by any self-imposed limitations.

Some people experience the negative side of this Outcome. Instead of a sense of freedom, there appears to be only limitations and frustration. Nothing seems to work out and little positive happens. Sometimes this can materialize in the form of extreme religious views. Almost as if there is a need to apply even more restrictions - on the physical as well as the mental and spiritual planes.
