There are several ways to access an authentic I-Ching reading.

1. One-click Reading:
» From anywhere on the Tarot.com web site, select a "I-Ching Reading" from the "Readings & Reports" drop down menu in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and then click the "Go»" button.

» To choose between an animated I-Ching experience, including narration, and a non-animated interactive experience, go to the IChing.Tarot.com Homepage. (Click on the I-Ching tab shown at the top of any Tarot.com page.) Here you can start your authentic I-Ching reading.

This experience is optimized for people on a dial-up connection and those who haven't installed Macromedia's free Shockwave player.

1. From the I-Ching.Tarot.com Homepage or from the "Readings & Reports" drop down menu (see more above) select, "Non Animated Version."
2. Move your mouse over the pool and when you feel the moment is right, click the mouse. Continue untill you've cast all 6 tosses.
3. Click on the "Read My Lines" button.
4. To get your Changing Lines and Future Hexagram, click on the "Get My Changing Lines & Future Hexagram" button.
5. • If you are logged in and have enough Karma Coins in your account, then the appropriate number of Karma Coins will automatically be deducted from your Karma Account.
   • If you are logged in and do not have enough Karma Coins to cover this reading, then you will be asked to buy more Karma Coins or pay the exact amount for this reading only.
   • If you are not logged in and you are a member, then click on "Login now". You can also pay the exact amount for this reading without logging in if you wish.
   • If you are not logged in and you are not a member, then click on "Sign up Now. You can also pay the exact amount for this reading without signing up if you wish.
6. To listen to Narration, turn on your speakers and click on the "lips" to the right of the text area (sample screen shot included here).
7. To read your Changing Line(s), scroll down the text area in the center of your screen. Your Changing Line(s) should be near the end of the text.
8. To read your Future Hexagram, click on the "Future Hexagram" link in the upper right corner (sample screen shot included here).

This experience is optimized for people connected to the internet on a DSL, Cable or faster connection. It requires Macromedia's free Shockwave player which is usually packaged with newer browsers and easy to download for older ones.

3. Click on the "Get My Changing Lines & Future Hexagram" button.
