Aquarius Career Horoscope: February 2013

Powers of persuasion

The world may be interested in your unconventional ideas this month. The Sun is in your inventive sign and your 1st House of Personality until February 18, which boosts your confidence and opens the way to more exciting activities on the job. Alluring Venus enters Aquarius on February 1, adding a strong dose of charm and people skills to enhance professional relationships. Face-to-face meetings should work in your favor because your charm is an asset right now.

Managing money is another subject, though, with two planets in your 2nd House of Income. Active Mars enters Pisces and this part of your chart on February 1, and mental Mercury does the same on February 5. Both planets join spacey and dreamy Neptune there on February 4-6, which can inspire your imagination but lead to confusion about facts.

Pushing hard is to be avoided in the first week of February because it's a time when gentle persuasion is more effective than a sharp tongue. The Aquarius New Moon on February 9 is meant to give you a fresh start, whether by taking on new tasks or simply feeling rejuvenated and ready to advance your interests.

However, expansive Jupiter's tense square to the Sun the following day indicates that reaching too far or promising too much is a risk. Valuable Venus' square with Saturn on February 10 also requires restraint until allies are on board and resources available to take the next step.

Critical colleagues and fussy customers may come with the Virgo Full Moon on February 25, but learning how to work more efficiently is a potential plus of this event.
